At IconStash, your privacy is fundamental. We believe developer utilities should respect user boundaries and process data locally.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
We operate on a zero-surveillance principle:
- We do not require user registration or accounts.
- We do not track cross-site browsing behavior.
- We do not sell, rent, or monetize personal user information.
- We do not execute fingerprinting scripts.
2. Browser Local Storage (Client-Side Only)
To provide a seamless workflow, IconStash uses your browser's native localStorage API solely on your device to remember:
- Your favorited icons and custom collections.
- Your recent search queries.
- Your UI preferences (e.g. Dark Mode vs. Light Mode).
This information remains entirely on your local machine and is never transmitted to our backend servers.
3. Third-Party Infrastructure
To deliver fast global static assets, we utilize standard cloud infrastructure (Cloudflare CDN and Google Fonts). When loading these static resources, standard technical metadata (e.g. IP address and user-agent) is processed by network edge nodes strictly to route HTTP packets efficiently and protect against DDoS attacks.
